One more update Jaunty was tempting

I updated to Jaunty, and two problems occurred on my Hp Pavilion DV7:

1) Sound was erratic

Googling a bit, I found the solution:

become root and in a terminal type:

echo "options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1" >> /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base

And, et voila, let there be sound!!!

2) Tracker was going nuts, prompting that the index was corrupted, and re-indexing didnt help

Heres the solution:

first delete ~/.cache/tracker

Then kill all tracker processes, restart and reindex...

Overall, seems a worthy upgrade...
