Although odd as it may seem, the official theme for Nutrition Month 2012 in the Philippines was not announced in the official National Nutrition Council website, http://www.nnc.gov.ph/. Instead, the announcement came from the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) as per research yield upon me searching for information regarding the this year’s theme. As Pinoys celebrate the Nutrition Month, the said theme will focused in the title, “Pagkain ng gulay ugaliin, araw-araw itong ihain”.

This theme will soon be promoted just before the actual celebration date which is July 2012. At the same time, other Philippine government agencies will also be promoting the theme with which the celebration centers for this year.
