Our last few weeks in photos
Our last few weeks in photos
I follow a friends blog and every week she posts their "week in photos". I love the idea. I dont always carry my nice camera and take amazing photos, but smart phone technology makes it pretty easy to still capture what we are doing. Thank goodness! My memory isnt great and without pictures Id forget half of the things we do. Maybe thats why Ive always loved photography? Heres my attempt at our "week in photos" which is more like the last few weeks. Hopefully Ill get better at doing this.
The girls and cousin Harper.
Its so cute when they are great friends.
We had a fancy dinner with candles and sparkling cider.
Brian took the day off work and we went to the movies at 9:30am while both girls were at school.
Emmie had a play date. I took a quick shower and came down to this on the kitchen table.
Luckily they had just unwrapped all of the candy first and hadnt eaten too much yet. Phew!
We went on a bike ride on one of the last "warm" days.
Christmas lights are up. We cant reach the peaks with any ladder and its too steep to be on the roof. Maybe next year well hire someone to do more. And maybe not...
This picture was to show the Elf. Shes back -- and keeping us on our toes.
Shopping with friends. And matching coats
Grandpa was here for his birthday!
We attempted a picture with me in it.
We took the cousins to "Frozen" It was so good.
We drove around to see Christmas lights and the girls got to eat popcorn balls. Big mistake! At least next time get white ones. They were so sticky and messy.
I think when you become a grandparents you forfeit your right to open your own presents.
Dinner in our dress up clothes. Pretty normal scene here.
Reading in the laundry basket
We went downtown to see the lights and prepare to photography my cousins proposal. Shes always such a model.
It was so cold and getting late. The girls were pretty crazy.
Santa comes to Brians office which is so nice. And no one cried this time. They are getting older!
Brian took us up to see where he works since we rarely go inside his building.
